about

small talk city™ is more than a shop, it’s a gathering place for thoughtful families.

I’m Jillian Leigh Lewis, mother, longtime creative, and founder of small talk city, a cozy corner of the world where dressing kids, connecting with community, and living with a little more intention all come together.

about me

Welcome to the neighborhood.

After settling in Berkeley and becoming a mother, I saw how overwhelming it can be to keep up with growing kids, shifting sizes, and the never-ending piles of laundry. I felt the need for something better—a way to dress children that’s gentle on them, thoughtful for parents, and kind to the planet.

By helping parents resell what no longer fits and find what’s just right, I make it easier to keep beautiful things in motion—and give clothes a second (or third) chance at life. It’s good for families, and even better for the planet our kids will inherit.

Whether you’re shopping, consigning, or just popping in to say hi, I started small talk city to help families dress, gather, and grow with care.
