A Back-to-School Workshop for Families, in 2 Parts
Before baskets are packed & classrooms are filled, please join us for stitching, coffee, conversation, and play.
Together with our children, we'll create custom embroidered name labels for coats, sweaters, rain gear, backpacks, lunch bags, and all the little things that make their way to Lost & Found.
No sewing experience necessary. All ages welcome. In small talk city style, our labels are made from scraps of beloved fabric — little heirlooms to treasure forever.

Part 1: August 8 | Label Making Circle
Learn a simple hand-embroidery stitch and make as many personalized fabric labels as your family needs.
Part 2: August 16 | Sewing Circle
Bring your garments and stitch your labels into place. Hand-sewing stations and sewing machines will be available, and the Small Talk City team is happy to help.

Come Ready to Shop, Too
The whole Waldorf list will be waiting — secondhand and ready to go: BOGS & Blundstone boots, Polarn O. Pyret gems, rain gear, and natural-material basics. Outfit the babes, label their gear, and cross it all off in one cozy morning.
Lovingly co-hosted by parents from Berkeley Rose and Wildcat Canyon — a little bridge between our two East Bay Waldorf communities.
